Composer
Lara studied Scoring for Film, TV and Video Games at Berklee College of Music, Valencia in 2023 and subsequently completed a professional development scheme with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra on their Film Composer’s Lab 2024/2025, mentored by John Lunn (Downton Abbey) and Danai Kokogia.
Below is Lara’s score for short film ‘Eternal Flight’ as part of the Berklee programme, recorded at Air Studios Lyndhurst in London. (This piece was performed live by the University of Puget Sound Symphony Orchestra in Tacoma, Washington in April 2024 conducted by Bill Dyer).
Here is Lara’s score for short film ‘The Magic Word’ as part of the RSNO Film Composer’s Lab 2024/2025, recorded at Scotland’s Studio in Glasgow with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra.
Since graduating from Berklee & RSNO programmes, Lara has scored the soundtrack to short film ‘Perennial Daffodils’ by Spanish film director Valeria Cuni which is due to be released in 2025. She also provided some additional music for a short documentary directed by ‘Dan Sloan’ called ‘Made It’ released in 2024. Lara regularly assists film composer Olly Gorman to transcribe, arrange, orchestrate and record string parts for his TV sound tracks, most recently for ‘Brigade du Fleuve’ which will air on France 3 later this year.
As well as scoring some short films, Lara helps out at music preparation company ‘Dakota Music’, working on projects including; The Electric State (Alan Silvestri), Horizon: An American Saga (John Debney), A Quiet Place: Day One (Alexis Grapsas) and many more.

Arranger/Orchestrator
As well as a composer Lara works as a freelance arranger/orchestrator. She has worked as part of the ‘Sitz’ team for The London Musical Theatre Orchestra, re-orchestrating two songs from the musical ‘Songs for a New World’. She is the in-house arranger for ‘Bollywood Strings’ regularly transcribing and arranging modern and traditional Bollywood music for various chamber line ups for live performance. She has worked as a string transcriber/arranger providing charts for live shows/recording sessions for many artists and bands including; China Crisis, The ELO Show, Twenty One Events, Global Strings Productions, and many more. Lara works mainly with Sibelius & Logic Pro X but also is a Dorico 5, ProTools and Digital Performer user.
